Serena sets out for another day of Pokémon training when a chance encounter with the elusive Mew takes an unexpected turn. After putting on a mysterious pair of headphones Mew was playing with, she becomes completely absorbed in the music, unknowingly wandering deep into a secluded forest. But hidden among the trees lurks an escaped newly modified Ekans, patiently waiting for unsuspecting prey to enter its territory. What begins as a simple chase after a rare Pokémon soon becomes a fight to survive.
